5FM's Fikile 'Fix' Moeti...is on a mission again to help create South Africa's Top Social Entrepreneurs.
Fix (as she is affectionately known to her listners) is known for her bubbly personality on air and is a firm favourite with listeners, six days a week. She now is extending her portfolio to giving back to social development, an audience she is passionate about. This is the third year running of the Fix Scholarship in partnership with Gordon Institute for Business Science (GIBS).
Fix (28), who is a graduate of GIBS Social Entrepreneurship Programme, is applying her personal mantras of achieving goals, and wants to pay the way forward by offering social agents an opportunity at the highly respected institution to make their visualisations a realisation.
Alongside GIBS, the Fix Scholarship is proud to announce its collaboration with Shake The World (STW) - a successful fair fashion initiative that aim to Shake The World simply by wearing a bracelet that make you look good, feel good and do good. The Fix Scholarship looks forward its first fundraising event with STW on the 22nd November where we will literally “Party for a Purpose”. More details to come!!
The one-year scholarship that is valued at R28, 500 will be awarded to selected aspiring students who are looking to up skill themselves on a competitive level. The scholarship will allow social change-makers to attend the GIBS Social Entrepreneurship Program, and develop in an environment renowned for producing a think tank of South Africa’s top leaders. Fix is a scholar of the life philosophy of Ubuntu and investing in others so that we can grow together, and learn together.
"The Fix Scholarship is looking for the diamond in the rough that has a 'doers' mentality and a heart to create change!"
